tonite me, D, kellyann, and john B. went to see ALICE COOPER!
the first band took forever to get on so we had some drinks. john is hysterical. he just talks and talks and the more he does the more rediculous he sounds. but its so funny.
i felt very good about myself tonite. not quite sure why but i was happy to be me.
john drank like you would not believe. killed 5 beers in like a half an hour. amazing to me.
the first band came on and they were SO bad. supagroup they were called. horrible. finally after years of waiting it seemed. alice cooper came on. he was AWESOME! his stage presance alone keeps you occupied, but his singing is still great and he still knows how to rock. what i liked most is that every band member looked like they were having the best time and not just doing this all for money. the bassist was so fuckin hot. and the drummer was too but i would definatly do the bassist first. He came out in strait jackets and of course with the boa consticter. he had props of knives, swords, whips, crutches oh it was just awesome!
there were 2 problems with the evening. number one kellyann just did not look like she was having a good time. everyone kept asking her if she was ok and i know that that gets annoying but i mean when you look half dead someone is going to say something. now alice cooper is not really kellyanns thing. but it was her choice to go. she wanted to see new things. i shouldnt have worried about her all night but you just cant help it. i mean it was just hard becuase i kept thinking she hates this. i dragged her here. but i didnt. she came on her own. she did say at the end of the show though that she really liked alice cooper so that was good. number 2 bummer of the evening was that alice did NOT play feed my frankinstien. i was devistated. it was the song i was waiting for. but it almost was ok because every song was so well done and the theatrics were great and i am just really lucky to have gotten a chance to see him
yeah alice cooper is old but man can he still rock! that gives me hope. maybe when we get older we dont have to forget how to rock. good lesson for us all. no matter how old he is or how cute the other members were your eyes were on him. he is so dark and so powerful. he walks and you follow. he sings and you listen. its just this air about him. i had a wonderful night.
