2004-21-06 - 6:10 a.m. june 21 monday I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth. Umberto Eco tonite i stopped by debs house to see how the free spirit festival went. i was very surprised when josh handed me a pottery barn bag. inside was a lovely photo album. it looks like its made of thin strands of straw and on the side are 2 little seashells. it was so nice of them to think of me like that. i mean all i did was watch their cat. oh and clean. lol. but still it was very nice of them. THANK YOU BOTH SO MUCH! not alot of free spirit was talked about. i heard the important things i think and then i went home. i expected more stories but i suspect there were and it is not yet time for april to know them. june 22 tuesday i went to the mall tonite to get gifts for the 3 pregnant women at my job. for that shower. i got recieving blankets, bibs and onsies. all said and done i spent 100 dollars. there should be a rule stating only one woman a year is allowed to get pregnant. this was a big blow to the wallet that really i cant justify. i really dont talk to these people to begin with. but you dont wanna be the asshole with no gift. ugh. later on in the evening i went to felix with panila. it was a really nice time because it was just me and him and we were able to have adult type conversations. i told him about albert and asked him if i should go to texas. he said it would be good if the girl made the innitial move every now and again but this is texas not a few miles down the rd. you know what i mean? i do have a bit more to think about then if i was meeting someone right down the rd. again though it was a nice time and we actually got a chance to talk. |
