this morning i got up took care of the baby for a little while and met matt and his friend brian at sanctuary. it was an ok time. nothing too great. some times i think that matt and i are just headed down two different paths and really cant relate anymore. it a sad thing. but then i think well we can still hang out and have a good time. i guess its just that we have found 2 different paths but can still meet on the roads from time to time.
after sanctuary i went to the mall to try and find something to wear for easter tomorrow. NOTHING and i repeat NOTHING was nice. not even in INC.
but i was talking to deb and we were trying to figure out what to do with katie and joey in the city today. we came up with some options and on our way to hoboken we were going to discuss them with katie and joey.
so i get back home and again i play with the baby and we wait for deb. she arrives and we pile in to my car. at first things were going good. we were laughing and telling stories. then we started talking about NY. deb gave out suggestions and katie kind of made huffy noises so we tried to change the plans but katie let joey decide and he decided on the village. i was starting to get a bit worried about things because i saw katie wasnt happy and deb was starting to get snappy at my sister.
so we get to hoboken and then on the path. when we get to christopher street we look for a subway to take us to little italy for dinner. my sister makes a bit of a fuss in the subway about having to pay for all the subways. i said to her that she agreed to the seven dollar pass in the car. now i am getting a bit frustrated. i said thats it we are staying in the village.
so we began walking and going in to some shops.
we stopped at this place deb wanted to stop at ... oh aphrodesia. joey and deb went in and i talked to katie. katie said that what she wanted to do was go to the museum and tool around central park. i said why didnt you say then that you wanted to go to midtown? she was like joey wanted to go here. i was at a loss.
so after that joey spotted a nice little place were you could sit outside and order some wine. we went and katie then got in a mood again. this time i have no idea why. i was to find out later that she was not hppy about joeys perchase of the bracelet he bought for her and the 8 dollar glass of wine.
we then went to dinner at a cute little italian place. katie did not eat she did not talk. finally i had to go outside. i had a cig and tried to call D. i got her answering machine so i bitched to it about how my day was going.
after dinner we went to starbucks. deb and joey went in to some stores and i got a chance to talk to katie. after a bit she seemed in better spirits which i was happy about. but i tell ya one thing i will NEVER go to NYC with them again with out a game plan. holy moly what a day.
we finally hopped back on the path and went home.
i then went to applebees with kellyann and nick, had an alabama slamma and went home to bed.
