it was a really kick ass day at work today. as it is the end of teacher appreciation week liz and chrissy got us pizza for lunch. oh and for breakfast rishab got us eggs and bacon waffles and pancakes and some other shit. lets say we spent the whole day eating.
i was talking to liz right before i was to leave and she was telling me how the twins parents arent happy because we dont interact with the children much. do you know how much i would love to be able to just sit down with them and play? i cant. too much to do. these kids shit more than the last bunch we had. and we are constantly cleaning and doing diapers and getting them to sleep and giving bottles. we are just sitting there on our duffs. the twins parents said as much though. they say the see us on parent watch constantly running around. and when arjun is in school its 10 times harder to play and sing with the kids.
after work D came to pick me up and me her and her sister were on our way to see matchbox 20.
we park right next to this deranged munudo or back street boys. this one guy decided to wear see threw white pants with no underwear on. Ds like OMG i see ass hair!!! oh it was so gross. so i say watch them be sitting right in front of us. well to my surprise we were sitting right next to them. i damned us again.
the first act was sugar ray. he is horrible. no stage presance at all. the morons next to us were dancing as if they were doing ty kwan do. hidious. then when sugar ray played i jsut wanna fly the guy stood up and made as if he was flying. at least we had a good laugh.
then came on matchbox 20. they were so good and now i understand Ds thing with the pants. rob thomas is fuckin sexy as hell in his tight tight pants. you werent missing anything with those pants. if he came and said april will you escort me back to my trailer i wouldnt even have to think about it.
he played disease, long day, unwell, push, and a whole bunch of others. lots of it i didnt know but D knew all the words to all the songs. she looked like she had a really good time. i'm glad she did.
