BBQs, fireworks, good friends. its a day of happiness! happy forth of july everybody!
D had a BBQ at her place today. me and kellyann were the first ones to arrive. kellyann made brownies, a cheesecake, and apple pie. lol. miss suesy home maker. i however got the hamburgers. lol. D says...i got corn!!! i was like yay!! kellyann however flipped her lid. lol. she was like cooorn cooorn. just singing how much she loved it. lol. so april for the first time shucked her own corn. it was fun actually. i got pics cuz i know my mom would never believe it. lol
to my surprise everyone was about at least 2 1/2 to 3 hours late. lol. bob finally arrived a bit before everyone else and we sat and chatted about sex and death on Ds back porch.
after awhile we decided not to wait and we started to eat. at long last robbie joined us, then minus and then deb and josh
we ate tons of food, talked outside. deb made this drink...i cant remember what it was called. i liked it and i didnt. i cant say how i felt about it. the first couple of sips were good then i guess i jsut got tired of it. or something. i dont know. but it was interesting and the mint leaves rocked
after that we went to see the fireworks in monroe. i was very close to sitting in the car because bats were flying over head. i hate bats. bobs all like they are cute mice with wings. i'm like they are filthy flying mammals.
anyway we laughed our asses off at john minus. he is such a crack up. he has really grown on me from pond skum to friend. lol jk jk. but he was telling D how they cant have babies because melado kids are crazy. he calls them mule babies. we were dieing laughing.
the fire works were great! i was very happy about how good our day went.
after the fireworks we went backt to Ds and ate again. lol. then we lit some sparklers and i went home.
