june 27
today is the day we go to washington DC. it was my b day presant from kellyann.
first things first...we must do some last minute shopping. i have looked at the state my bras are in and realized that pretty soon they are going to fall apart. so off to macys i go! i bought 2 new bras. 4 new paires of underwear < one has a hula girl on it lol > and i got myself a kickin pair of tommy hilfiger sunglasses for 15 snaps.
kellyann picked me up and then we were on our way to debs. on the way there i found out that D was sick as well. kellyann told her not to push herself and that if she didnt feel well she shouldnt go. which was logical in my mind. i think D thought maybe we didnt want her to go which couldnt be further from the truth. i just worry that she pushes herself too much.
we picked up deb and headed to BK for some lunch then to Ds. of course we hit traffic.
D volunteered to drive us so we piled out shit into her car and off we went!
now since i am the bringer of doom we sat in 3 and a half hours worth of traffic on a hot summer day with D low on gass so we couldnt have the AC on. sweating, bieng shouted at from the truckers, and worrying about gass. fun fun fun. plus we had reservations for dinner at 8.
but still we managed to laugh our asses off and have a genuenly good time. deb made a pretty cool CD for us to listen to and then we listened to the radio. singing at the top of our lungs. kellyann wound up calling the restaurant and setting back our reservations till 9.
we made it to the hotel at like 8:30.
check in also went bad...the guy said to kellyann your reservation was for last week. kellyann was like what??? i thought she was going to cry. all was fixed though and we still got a smoking room.
by the time we got up there and everything was settled we had 9 mins to get ready for this reservation. and we did! hair, make up, clothing all in 9 mins. who says girls cant get dressed fast was a moron!
we dined at the windows over washinton restaurant. very posh.
we tried acting all nuevo rich until we opened the menu and saw that chicken was 25 dollars. lol. it was still good!
the view was amazing and so was the food! they toasted to my b day even though it was a month past and we laughed and talked. kellyann and D ordered wine and kellyann forgot to smell the cork so she felt stupid for the remainder of the evening. iw as like kellyann come on now. lol. i wouldnt have smelled the cork either. lol.
for desert we had a chocolate tower. it was a mouse with fruit with a chocolate tower back round. oh my god to die for. we dug into that shit pretty good. they even gave us free truffles. lol. my meal wound up costing 40 snaps. but that was cool because it was so nice and good.
when we got back to our hotel room long enough to actually look at it it was very nice. not like the quality in. oh yes we were staying at the double tree right next to the pentagon.
