today i went with kellyann and her brother brian to see thomas < kellyanns other brother > play at the battle of the bands.
we at first thought that the battle would be held at birch hill but it was held in this whole in the wall in montclair.
i felt bad for the band because they had no idea they were going on first and they couldnt find the place just as we could not find the place. so they only got to play for like 15 mins instead of the half an hour everyone else got.
as i was leaning against the little table i couldnt help but look around at the new generation...all i have to say is lets hope we die before they get in power. lol. the outfits alone were hidious. one girl didnt even bother to get dressed. she wore her reighndeer pjs. this other girls was wearing pants that looked like a picnic table cloth with rainnbow suspenders...ick..and i have to say that most of them you couldnt tell wether or not they were boys or girls. many PATS there.
kellyanns brothers band was of course wonderful. even the lead singer was better this time. the other 2 bands that we saw were ick. i dont know what they are trying to do to music...one band sounded like a mix between weezer, metallica, blind melon, and some r and b group...ick..the other band was made up of 3 kids that really should be put on more ridalin.
later on that night me and kellyann and D went to somerset diner. lots of fun
